Under the Bridges

We've finished the first three segments in our Dumbo-TV series, now tentatively titled "Under the Bridges: This Week in Dumbo." We've posted the fine cuts of individual profiles-- the final show will be tied together by a host of sorts (mostly likely it will be Valery and I). Anyway, below you'll find the video for Spring, but the others can be found at http://www.oneglassproductions.com/dumbo.html

Also, we're very appreciative of all of the volunteer help we've gotten thus far on the project, so here's a shout-out to the production and writing teams!

new music video!

One Glass posted a new video on Youtube... This past winter, we did the post-production for Saycon's music video for her song, "Possible." (And by "we" I mean Valery.) Enjoy.

please help

On a side note... Since we are not yet funded for the TV show endeavor, we are now accepting donations to help keep this project alive. If you'd like to support us, please go to: http://www.oneglassproductions.com/dumbo.html.

shooting for dumbo-tv series

This weekend, One Glass Productions is starting production on the Dumbo TV show (yet to be named so feel free to throw some ideas our way if you're feeling clever).

One Glass Productions profiles Prague Kolektiv in Dumbo, NYCAnyway, on Friday, we're shooting first at Prague Kolektiv, a really awesome design/furniture showroom. Since One Glass moved to Dumbo, we have been coveting some of the pieces there, so we're excited to get a closer look.

One Glass Productions profiles Halcyon in Dumbo, NYCAnd then we're shooting at a cool concept record store called Halcyon that has a unique outside-in design, and is dedicated to underground music, art and fashion. Worth a visit, but watch your step. The floor is a mixture of faux-grass and pools of loose river rocks.

One Glass Productions profiles Spring in Dumbo, NYCOn Saturday, we're shooting at a gallery-type space called Spring where all the art is "functional" and for sale. They also have one of the coolest doors in Dumbo, if you've ever seen it. (The silhouettes are transparent, in case you can't tell from the picture.)

Although this first shoot is mainly retail establishments, we are also in conversation with some individual artists. We're always looking to hear about new and interesting happenings in Dumbo, so let us know if you have a Dumbo story to share.

One Glass to Produce TV Series about DUMBO Culture!

One Glass Productions profiles artists and creative businesses in DUMBO NYC as part of a Television Initiative
I'm very happy to announce that One Glass is beginning production for a television series about and for the artists and creative businesses of DUMBO. The show will be produced as free service to the artists/businesses of the DUMBO area.

The series is to be aired weekly and will highlight and document all the faces and places that make DUMBO so special. Go behind the scenes with us as we uncover all the hot spots you might have missed.

If you're in the DUMBO area or know someone who is, and you're doing something unique and exciting, give us a call and we'll schedule you for an interview.

#1 on Google!

I discovered today, in my daily Google search for my little company, that One Glass Productions, is now the FIRST RESULT in Google Search. That is, when the words "one glass" are searched, but actually, without using the quotes (does that make sense?).

You see, before, there were all these lame glass production websites that came up before us, and we were all like, wha? And Google search was all, shyeah. But now, at least for today, we're on top!

The screenshot above (undoctored, aside from the classy fade at the bottom) captures my triumphant discovery.
