One Glass Productions on Current TV
Back in January 2008, One Glass Productions did post-production for a pilot episode of the docu-series called THE GREAT ADVENTURES OF SPICEMAN -- A day in the life of the super-kinetic, New York based Indian Spice Merchant & Uberchef, Dhiraj Arora (Arora Creations, Inc.) The video is now in circulation on the Current TV website.

We moved our offices to "a room with a view"...
And by that, I mean quite possible the best view in the world!

DUMBO... the first neighborhood in NYC to have curb-side public recycling bins and solar powered holiday lights... home of Grimaldi's-- debatably the surliest Pizza makers in the country... and to the gym where Robert DeNiro trained for 'Raging Bull'... and host to the renowned outdoor movie screening series... and with more galleries and creative business than even we have the curiosity to explore...
There's a lot Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, and now there's even more. So update your address books, and come visit us!!

We're still settling in, and with all the new space, we have discovered that we have that we have a serious lack of furniture. We are working on that, but we do have our projector set up with a giant 10 foot projection! Stay tuned for updates on a cocktail party / screening to be announced very soon!

One Glass works on new Pilot

The story is one of personal endeavor and hard work. The series is intended to not only highlight the success of Dhiraj Arora, but also to show the urban flavor of his personality amongst all the packets of indian spices.
Holiday Edition

This past weekend Stephanie and I set up our One Glass Christmas tree, which is making the space between our two offices much more cozy. Here's how it all went down: Steph had a cold so we went to the closest tree vendor just two blocks away. The guy didn't sell any tree stands so we realized we were going to have to find one of those before we bought a tree. We went to he CVS down the street, but all they had were giant heavy-duty PVC plastic ones "suitable for any tree up to 8 feet!" The tree we wanted was 4 feet tall... so needless to say that stand was a little much for us. We then went to our trusted local hardware store, which had a smaller, cuter option. Here are some favorite memories...

I take a good hard
look at the tree.

Stephanie Testa puts
ornaments on said "tree."

EneMan, donning a Santa hat
and reindeer antlers, spreads
holiday cheer as well as
colon health awareness.

O, Tannenbaum...
du bist so schoen.
Und scraggly.

News!
Dawn Landes' new music video for her song, "Bodyguard" is soon to be released along with the single in the U.S. and Europe. The video was shot, produced, and animated by One Glass Productions' very own mastermind, Valery Estabrook. She crafted the animations using elements from New York City artist, Danica Novgorodoff's Circus Song Book. I'm still in awe of her patience with the cell-by-cell animation process. I'm just saying-- It's a good thing one of us doesn't have A.D.D. Anyway, you can catch a sneak preview of the video on the One Glass website.
In other news, Mary's Little Lamb (directed by One Glass' Stephanie Testa) had its second screening last week. On November 3rd, Brooklyn-based Life As A Lemon Productions sponsored the benefit screening, supporting their Women in Cinema series, and the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. One Glass joined in their halloween themed celebration, and a grand time was had by all.
And lastly, we'll leave you with our newly refurbished reel:
And that's all the news for now. Be safe and have a lovely day.

And we're back!
We've returned to NYC from San Francisco, and while we did not bring home the "gold" we did manage to bring home a lot of great memories and some new friends. If you haven't yet seen our contest entry, check out Top Secret on YouTube, and rate it well. Help us regain our mangled self-esteem by telling us all the reasons we should have won. Just kidding! Humble congratulations to the winning teams.
In other news, One Glass Productions is proudly celebrating its FIRST BIRTHDAY! Yes, that's right-- we're now officially one year old. We are busily searching for a new office-space, but as soon as we've found one, we will be announcing a celebratory event!! In the typical One Glass style, there will be friends, there will be films, and there will be box wine. Keep an eye out for our announcement and see you there.
